Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, is due to reach Indonesia on 30 October, following its global launch on 23 October. Indonesian pre-orders have reportedly sold out, with availability constrained by limited stock.

Reuters reported on 26 October that launch-day queues were smaller than at previous major iPhone launches, despite strong consumer demand. Restrictions on sales allocations had reduced the long lines and overnight camping associated with earlier launches.

Apple has capped purchases at two phones per customer to discourage resellers. In some markets, buyers who ordered online receive priority. Delivery estimates slipped to late January 2027 within minutes of pre-orders opening, as orders outstripped supply.

Indonesian buyers can purchase the device through authorised distributors, including iBox and Digimap. Prices vary by storage capacity:

  • 256 GB: Rp45,678,910
  • 512 GB: Rp51,999,000
  • 1 TB: Rp61,999,000
  • 2 TB: Rp75,999,000
