SCG outlined its approach to innovation, automation and artificial intelligence during the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2026, held in Singapore on 7–8 October. President and CEO Thammasak Sethaudom said businesses needed to change both their operations and working practices to remain competitive.

Speaking on a panel with business leaders from China and India, Thammasak said adopting technology needed to be accompanied by changes in how teams think, make decisions and work together. The discussion addressed AI, innovation and competition across ASEAN.
