Viettel America Corporation has been designated a Select Partner within OpenAI’s partner network, the company announced, as it seeks to expand the deployment of artificial intelligence for enterprises.

The US subsidiary of Vietnamese telecommunications and technology group Viettel said it would continue collaborating with OpenAI to help organisations develop AI systems and extend their use. Its planned work includes helping businesses use GPT-6 Astra, which the announcement described as offering deeper reasoning and computer-use capabilities for completing complex workflows.

The network supports companies that develop, market and implement solutions using OpenAI technology. It offers resources and assistance intended to help enterprises adopt the company’s models and products.

Viettel America director Nguyen Van Phuong said the partnership fitted Viettel’s international strategy of linking AI technology with its deployment operations across global markets.

Drawing on the wider group’s telecommunications, digital infrastructure, data centre and enterprise technology operations, Viettel America said it would focus on business and public-sector applications. It also plans to deepen its technical expertise and expand its AI capabilities in the markets it serves.
