Tay Ninh starts two Ring Road 4 components with 2029 completion target
Compensation and support have covered 4,792 cases as the province prepares remaining land and infrastructure work.

Tay Ninh province in Vietnam has launched two components of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, targeting completion and entry into service in 2029. Provincial People's Committee Chairman Le Van Han said both would follow a public-private partnership model.
Han said provincial authorities had worked with central agencies, Ho Chi Minh City and other relevant bodies to settle the route, investment scale and required procedures. During a 90-day clearance campaign, compensation and support reached 4,792 cases out of 5,220, involving approximately 639 hectares of the required 681 hectares.
The province's next tasks include obtaining the outstanding land, arranging resettlement, moving technical infrastructure and maintaining construction material supplies. Han said leaders would check progress, tackle obstacles and make agencies and units accountable for implementation.
The planned Ring Road 4 spans approximately 159km. Han said it would link Ho Chi Minh City to the southeastern region, Mekong Delta and Central Highlands, while connecting Tay Ninh's development areas to regional transport and logistics networks.
He said the completed route would ease freight movements between industrial, production and border gate areas and ports and airports, while creating opportunities for investment, industry, urban development, trade and services.
