China offers solar and smart-grid cooperation with Thailand
A Chinese embassy official also highlighted five humanoid robotics projects approved in Thailand, with initial investment exceeding ฿10 billion.

China is prepared to help Thailand develop clean energy by combining Chinese solar and smart-grid technology with Thai capabilities, Chinese embassy counsellor Zhao Mengtao said. He said the proposed cooperation could make the energy transition less costly and support a sustainable Thai supply chain.
Speaking at a Thai Journalists Association training programme about modern China, Zhao put Chinese green-industry output at about 11 trillion yuan. He presented renewable energy and advanced technology as areas offering opportunities for closer cooperation between the countries.
Zhao also pointed to Thai Board of Investment approvals for humanoid robotics projects involving five Chinese companies. Their initial investment exceeds ฿10 billion. The projects are expected to generate more than 1,000 skilled jobs, while annual spending on domestically sourced components is expected to exceed ฿45 billion.
On broader economic ties, Zhao said China was seeking stronger domestic demand, easier market access and a stable environment for long-term investment to encourage capable Chinese companies to invest in Thailand. He added that China was ready to import more Thai agricultural goods, food and tourism services, as well as high-quality digital businesses.
