The program reflects the reasons many people give for seeking out a coach. In the 2022 ICF Global Consumer Awareness Study, which surveyed 30,727 people across 30 countries, the most common reasons for working with a coach were improving communication skills (37%), improving work-life balance (35%) and building self-esteem or self-confidence (35%).
While assisting with all of the above goals, Coach Paul's coaching is particularly designed for people who want dedicated support while they make an important change, clarify a direction or follow through on a meaningful goal. It addresses common obstacles such as feeling stuck, scattered priorities, repeated patterns, difficult decisions and plans that haven't turned into consistent action.
Early sessions focus on each client's vision, priorities and obstacles. Sahota and the client then build an action plan and work through its first steps, with Sahota holding the client accountable along the way. Clients choose the frequency and format of their sessions, allowing for collaboration and an ongoing sense of agency.
Sahota's approach combines modern coaching frameworks with personal development principles he has studied since 1996, when he began formal training through an organization connected to the teachings of Napoleon Hill. He later worked with author Bob Proctor in Proctor's youth mentoring program.
"Many of the people I work with already know they're capable of more," Sahota said. "What holds them back is often a pattern they haven't fully seen yet. My role is to help them discover and activate what is already within them, and then build the follow-through to act on it."
The 10-session package costs $3,000 USD, and progress depends on each client's goals, practice and circumstances.
